MShop from SBI Card


SBI Card has launched its new service, mShop, which could be used by customers for shopping across India by means of mobile phones. SBI Card is the credit card service provided as a joint service by State Bank and GE Capital.

The SBI Card holders can now shop 24x7 over secure networks using the mShop service.

"We are delighted to launch mShop, yet another way to make life simple for our customers. mShop will further enhance our cardholders experience with SBI Card. It will also open up a new revenue stream for our business”, said the SBI Card chief executive Diwakar Gupt, while launching the service.

The customers would now be able to procure air tickets and cinema tickets as well as pay their bills directly from their mobiles.

mShop app has to downloaded to the mobile phones via GPRS. Once registration process is completed, the users can indulge in shopping 24X7.
